Carrelages de Provence is a typical traditional small business, in size as well as techniques, set up by Grégory Bammé 5 years ago.
Grégory Bammé is passionate about his profession and puts a lot of energy into giving his production the growth that it deserves: growth which has already become a reality and which led to his recent move into larger premises.
Carrelages de Provence specialises in the manufacture of natural or enamelled terracotta tiles, sandstone or enamelled lava tiles as well as ceramic decorative products.
At a time when productivity seems to be the only issue, this company offers an alternative by showing its determination to manufacture its products fully by hand, without ever having to replace man by machinery.
Conscious choices are made every day in order to refuse any industrialisation or even a partial mechanisation of its manufacturing process.

Therefore, even though the quantity produced remains relatively small, with products aimed at individuals as well as professionals, the quality of the craftsmanship is of very high standards. Raw materials such as Salernes clay and lava are used in very meticulous and often "technical" work, such as the manufacture of specific tiles for basins in old wine making farms or old-fashioned tiles for pigeon houses (green, yellow, red, 20 x 20 cm).
The company’s expertise was rewarded by being chosen to restore the steeple clock on the Eglise Saint-Roch in Paris.

The range also extends to customised products for kitchens and bathrooms: Provencal earthenware dishes, basins, toilets, wall lights, draining boards, tap surrounds, clocks etc. Products also include creations as well as reproductions on request, and are offered in a variety of forms.
